MANZAR Beta Notice and Disclaimers
Last updated: 2026-11-05
Status: Draft, not reviewed by a lawyer.
1. Who runs MANZAR
MANZAR is run by one person, operating from Mauritius. There is no company behind it yet, so there is no limited liability entity between you and that person. We say this up front because you should know it before you pay.
Payments go through Dodo Payments, which is the merchant of record for its sales. All sales are final; see Refunds and Cancellation.
If MANZAR becomes a company, we will update these documents and tell account holders.

2. MANZAR is in beta
The product is live, and it is also unfinished. Features can change, move or disappear. Things can break, sometimes at a bad moment. Prices can change for future purchases. Many prices today are founding prices, and the later price is shown beside each one. Products can be paused or retired, as wedding invitations and Forever flyer pages have been, though what you already paid for keeps working for the period you bought. MANZAR points and badges can change or end too (Terms of Service sections 5C and 5D). Support is one person, so replies come as fast as one person can manage.
3. What a print needs to track
The AR runs in the browser of the person scanning. It works well in good conditions and badly in poor ones. It needs:
- a reasonably recent phone with a working camera, and a browser that allows camera access;
- camera permission. Without it, nothing plays;
- a normal browser. Some apps open links in their own browser and block the camera. Opening the link in Safari or Chrome usually fixes this;
- good, even light, without strong glare;
- a flat, sharp print, not creased, not behind glass or glossy film, and large enough for the camera to see;
- a photo with detail and contrast. A plain sky, a flat colour, a blurred photo or a repeating pattern tracks badly;
- a sensible distance and angle.
We cannot promise that any given photo, print or phone will work. Test a real print on a real phone before you print in bulk, hand anything to a client, or send invitations to guests.
4. AI output
AI animation gives a different result each time, even from the same photo and settings. The motion may not match what you had in mind, and faces or details can shift. We make no promise about how a clip will look. Watch every clip before you publish it. A delivered clip is final. A clip that fails or is blocked by the filter is not charged.
5. No warranty
MANZAR is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
We do not promise that MANZAR will be uninterrupted, on time, secure or free of errors, that tracking will work on every phone, print or light, that it will meet any need you have, or that any fault will be fixed by a certain time. We exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Nothing here takes away a right that consumer law gives you and does not let a contract remove.
6. No uptime promise
There is no uptime guarantee, no service level agreement and no compensation for downtime.
MANZAR depends on other companies: hosting and database providers, Google for sign-in, Dodo Payments for payments, an AI video provider, and an email service provider. When one of them has an outage, MANZAR can go down too. If one of them closes our account, MANZAR could stop with little warning.
An outage is not a reason for a refund, unless the law where you live requires one (Refunds and Cancellation section 7).
7. "No end date" and "Forever"
Keepsakes are sold with no end date. Flyer pages bought on the Forever tier before 2026-11-04 were sold as lasting forever; we no longer sell that tier, and those pages keep the terms they were bought under. This is what "no end date" and "forever" mean.
We will not put an expiry date on it, and we will not charge you again for it.
It does not promise that the design will still scan in ten or twenty years. No one running a web service can honestly promise that, least of all one person running a beta. It lasts as long as we can keep MANZAR running. The real risks are that the operator cannot go on, that a provider ends its service or changes its terms, or that browsers drop something the AR needs.
If MANZAR has to stop, we will give as much notice as we practically can and tell you how to get your own files back.
8. Keep your own copies
We host your files so your designs can play. We take reasonable care, but this is a beta run by one person.
Always keep your original photos and videos. Once you delete something, it is gone, and we may not be able to get it back.
9. Public links and recordings
Scan links have no login. Anyone with the QR code or the link can open the design and share it. A Try on your phone link is public too, for the 30 minutes it works.
People who scan can record their screen or film it. Those recordings stay on their own device unless they choose to share them, and we are not responsible for where they post them.
10. No official link, and no advice
MANZAR is independent. MANZAR Haramain is not linked to, approved by, or run for any authority responsible for the Two Holy Mosques, or any government body.
Nothing on MANZAR is religious, legal, financial, medical or tax advice.
11. Liability
Our liability is limited as set out in section 14 of Terms of Service. In short, to the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, and our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.
That cap is small, and you are dealing with one person, not a company. If a launch, an event or a wedding depends on the AR working, test first, and have a plan that works without it.
12. Changes and contact
We can update this notice. The date at the top changes when we do. For a change that matters, we will tell account holders by email or in the product.
